Absolut Launches Next Iteration of Its #AbsolutNights Campaign
Absolut extends its missions to challenge the status quo of nightlife through this year’s evolution of its #AbsolutNights campaign. Built on a long history of artistic collaborations, Absolut has always been and will always be a brand anchored in originality, authenticity and openness. Most recently, in 2015, Absolut launched the #AbsolutNights platform, as part of its mission to push nightlife forward by challenging conventions – reimagining and reinventing nightlife for all. Today, the #AbsolutNights campaign has the purpose to instigate a more open world within nightlife – a world rooted in connecting people across borders, barriers and labels – inspiring people to to be spontaneous and living in the moment.
“The latest evolution of the campaign launches with a film that celebrates the very core of what makes great nights - creating memories by connecting with others. Whether its making new friends at a music festival or bonding even closer to existing friends, we believe this authentic connection is at the root of all unforgettable nights. These are the nights that become day. The nights that memories are made of. We call them Absolut Nights,“ says Gaia Gilardini, Global Communications Director, Absolut.
Launching first in Brazil and USA before being rolled out globally, the campaign is centered around a platform of short stories depicting various #AbsolutNights from different individual perspectives. The campaign will be supported by two anthem videos, one establishing what #AbsolutNights are and the other focusing on the brand’s ‘One Source’ story.
The ‘One Source’ video is built on the idea that it is the passion for #AbsolutNights that inspires Absolut’s quality. This statement comes from the fact that every bottle of Absolut, no matter where you are in the world, has been crafted with passion in the small village of Åhus, Sweden.
In addition to the films, the #AbsolutNights campaign aims to inspire consumers to experience and create their own unforgettable nights. As part of the brand’s mission to always be pushing the boundaries of nightlife, Absolut will continue to hosting #AbsolutNights experience around the world — now inviting people to come together at this unique events to make new friends and truly connect with others.
